Today went out with my colleagues for dinner after work. We went to have Ayam Penyet @ Lisa Gourmet, near Haji Taha. It was to celebrate Tina's (belated) birthday. Why so late, you guys may ask..cos for them gaji only come out at the end of the month and Tina's birthday was not far off actually (26th February) so yeah quite reasonable.
I however on the other hand was pretty broke..thank God Mr.K manage to give me a bit extra to get baby's milk and pampers, and for my belanja also cos I was totally dry! thanks to someone. not even a single cent left you know -_____-" sighs. sad right.
Anyways, I had an awesome time. Tina did not know the plan that we were going to celebrate her birthday. She thought we all were just going out to makan makan only :) but yeah overall it was a good simple birthday dinner. took alot of photos though..will post them up later when I get them ok? I promise it wont be too long ;) heehee. ciao~

Day 1
I was working morning shift that morning he arrived :) so instead of going down to work, I decided to take time off and pick him up straight instead. ofcos I brought baby along and what surprised me the most was that when the little one saw him, she immediately wanted him to carry her! I was amazed!
She did not cry or look away, she just smiled and giggled and held out her hands for him to carry her ^____^vWe then went home and rested for a bit before heading out again later that evening for Seafood@ Pending area! super so laku okay. and the seafood there is cheap and delicious as well! :) Mr.K surely obviously enjoyed it. hahaha XD some more waaaaaayyyy cheaper than what you get in Singapore ok!
After Seafood, we went home again to send baby and the family home. Yes, I know you must be thinking we are such bad parents to not bring baby out with us, kan? but the fact was we were actually planning to go down to the beach but I malas to drive..so instead we dropped by Padini Concept Store as my girlfriends there wanted to meet the famous Mr.K! haha XD
We then headed down to Waterfront for a drive and stopped by to just chill at The Kiosk @ Waterfront. I had Neslo Tarik while he had the Teh Tarik :) and we chatted and chatted and chatted. It's been a long time since I got to do this..with him. Hee...
Day2Anyways the very next day's plan was to head down to the beach, just him, me and the the little one but plans change :) with the both of us being so tired and all, and with my brother and sister wanting to go to the beach too, and with the weather so hot. we ended up going to Matang Wildlife Family Park! :) it was still fun and the water was freezing. but it was fun. really fun ^_____^v
But before that, we headed out to have breakfast, to let him try the awesome Sarawak Laksa @ Madam Tangs :) which you obviously cannot find in Singapore!! haha. He ofcos enjoyed it thoroughly. Who wouldn't? ^_____^v
After all the fun, we then headed straight down to the airport as he was leaving the very same day. but we did manage to make a pit stop to let him have a try Ayam Penyet @ Rasa Rasa! :) and he enjoyed that as well..some more, cheaper than Singapore! haha.
Overall Khalid's trip down to Kuching was a blast! :D

It was always there ready to be given to me.I kinda forgot how it felt to be loved.
have been trying to keep a positive mindset
about everything but many times falling prey
to the negative thinking that lingers.
I thank God he was able to make this trip down to Kuching.
It gave me strength to carry on for the next few months.

Thank you love, thank you for making it though you had to travel all the way to Senai airport (in the middle of the night), buy a brand new ticket (with money borrowed from a friend), spend the night in the airport sleeping on hard chairs (and getting bitten by mosquitoes as well as listen to the renovation going on) and for sacrificing so much though having so little.
I had an awesome time spent with you, although it was really short but it was worthwhile. It was better than nothing. It was better than not having you around at all. It made me realise how much you meant to me, how much you loved me, and how much more I needed to appreciate you. It was good seeing you hold the little one, and although it was surprising to see how fast she accepted you, I was glad. I miss you already. Till the day I see you :) I love you.

Surprise Surprise Surprise.
I was so disappointed and pissed that Khalid had missed the flight last night. The story was that his flight was at 8:35pm, he had actually left his house at 6:30pm arrived just in time to check in but he went to the wrong terminal and thus, by the time he got to the right one..it was already 8:00pm and they were close.
He called me immediately afterwards. and as far as I knew he told me that he would try his best to come, no matter what (though I had told him not to waste his money and time) we tried checking flights for that very night and the very next day online but as you all might know, if you're paying by credit card/debit card, the card holder must present their card at the check in counter. Well, we were quite disappointed after that. as we knew it was quite impossible to book flights.
He even went all the way to Senai airport, Johor Bahru to see whether if he could book flights to come on the next flight to Kuching. but soon later his battery died. and after that, I did not hear from him anymore. was really worried and I really didn't know what to do.
but....
I suddenly got a call at 4am in the morning, saying that he was already checked in and boarding at 6:30am later on. I was HAPPY :D so the very HAPPY. all that time where he "disappeared", he had actually borrowed money from his friend, and booked the flights immediately once the counter was opened for booking. Thank you honey. I appreciate it so much ^_______^V
So we're off to have seafood now. and then not sure. ^_____^v

I'm just so upset right now. He's now in Senai airport, Johor Bahru. trying to book tickets to come here. I really don't know what to do right now. I feel so helpless. so so helpless. I don't know what I can do to help him out. Senai is definitely not a short distance from Singapore..though it may seem nearby but it's not. trust me.
