It took me ages to get Baby Love to sleep tonight.
All I got from her was,

*cries, whines, grumbles*

*rubs eyes over and over again*
"arrgeevvveee...agguuurrreeevvveee..."
*whines and touches my face*.
HOW CAN YOU NOT MELT
no matter how FRUSTRATED YOU ARE.
That was all I got for the two long hours, trying to get her to sleep. At one point I got pretty frustrated with her as she was SO SLEEPY but still SO STUBBORN to sleep. Finally got her to sleep by rocking her in my arms.

He was shiny and new and made me laugh, while the blinding luster you and I had once formed had dulled to a depressing opaque. By circumstance my day was spent with him, and the drive home afterwards to you was often sobering.
